HELP! I can't walk on the Wal-Mart floors!

We were at Wal-Mart last night and we only were there for one thing so we didn't get a cart. We had carried Becka around for a while and then we put her down to walk. She wouldn't walk. She acted like she was stuck. We told her to come with us and so she would take a few steps and act like she was going to fall. We couldn't figure out what she was doing. She looked at the floor like there was something on it that she didn't want to step on. It was the lights reflecting on the floor. When you walk they move and it freaked her out. Being the wonderful parents that we are, we thought it was really funny and tried to get her to walk to us. If we walked next to her our shadow would cover the lights and she would be free to walk but if we left her side she would be stuck. We got to a part of the floor with the red strip and she could walk on it because it didn't reflect the light. In the picture she wants us to pick her up because the red is just about to end. I didn't really think about it before this, but I guess I've always made her stay in the cart when we are there. She is a funny little girl!

Elise's 4th Birthday Party!

Elise's new bike! She loves it!

Elise also loved her cake. She's putting her had over her mouth and saying it's so pretty.

Grandma Jeanne's funny hat.

Silly cousins! Kenasyn, Coledyn, Ryker, Emma, and Conner.

Emma, Morgan, and Elise.

Elise had so much fun at her party. We had it at the "clubhouse" where my brother lives. It was a nice big room and best of all the room was free! Everything went just as I hoped and Elise loved her bike that I bought when she was 1 and we have been waiting to give it to her for so long! We had so much family come and it was so nice to have everyone that loves Elise be there. I was even more excited when Aunt Jill came with Grandma and Grandpa Beckstead. Thank you to everyone who came and who helped! You made Elise's birthday special!

Careington Dental Plans!

So we are still having computer problems! We are not getting a new computer anytime soon due to the dentist bill we are paying. I can blog but I can't put up any pictures. So, Scott went to the dentist the other day and we found out that he needs two root canals and two crowns! The cost, $4000.00!!! I cried! We have no dental plan. After I got over the shock I got online and the first website I found I called and told them what was going on. I thought anywhere I called would say that there is a year waiting for any major work to be covered. They had no waiting and they could cover almost half of the cost!! There was a $20 sign up fee and then it's $7.00 a month after that. We ended up paying $2214.00. I wanted to pass the word along in case anyone else has this problem. The company is called Careington. I love the internet!

Computer problems.

Sorry that I haven't blogged in a while! We have had some problems with our computer and I haven't been able to put my pictures on the computer. We should be getting a new computer in the next month so until then we are going to be really boring. Nothing really exciting has been going on anyway. Elise had the flu last week and now we all have colds. The most exciting thing that has happened to us is our van started for no reason at midnight last night (it has a remote start). It creeped me out. We were lucky it wasn't in our garage where our dog sleeps. I don't even want to think of what could happen. She was inside last night also because it was so cold, but still scary. Other than that, boring. Hope everyone is healthy and happy!

Beckstead Christmas Party

The Beckstead Christmas Party!

We had so much fun at the Christmas party Saturday after Christmas in Preston ID. Here's a few pictures from it. We were sad that a lot of the family could not make it because of the weather but we still had a great time.
Scott took this picture. I didn't know Ryan was behind me and I wondered why Scott was laughing. Ryan, I will get you back!

Elise about to smash Frosty.

Scott helping Becka tap Frosty.

Randon, The Christmas gangster. Mr. T would be proud.

We really should take Elise to the dentist more often!
She looks like she could be be Uncle Scott Brenchley's Granddaughter.

Santa at Sub Zero.

For Pre-School Jeanne has Santa come so the children can tell him what they want for Christmas. This year we did something a little different and went to a new ice cream shop called Sub Zero. They freeze the ice cream right in front of you. After all the kids had there fill of ice cream Santa came. They all had so much fun and Elise got to tell Santa that she wanted a Pink baby.
Freezing the Ice Cream.

Elise's cousin and best friend (most of the time) Ryker (he's so cute!). Waiting for there Ice Cream.

Give me Ice Cream, Please!

Becka's still not so into the big red man. He's the best Santa thought. That is a real beard. He starts growing it in June to have it long enough.
